MIIB is this weekend and we want to make sure that everyone gets an opportunity to come out and dance! For our fabulous weekend bands, we have Joshua Fialkoff and the J-Street Band and the Little Big Band. At our workshops, our amazing instructors are Greg Avakian, Laurie Zimmerman, Ogden Sawyer, Amanda Gruhl and Melanie Grimes (belly dancing). When the late nights start groovin' you'll need look no further than DJs James Bradley (CA), Jeff Miller (VA), Bryan Spellman (TX),and representing CT, Javier Johnson, Rob Szarka and Wil Reed.

Beantown Camp Early Registration Discount Deadline May 14

The Beantown Camp early registration due date is coming up this week on Wednesday, May 14! Now is the time to register if you have not already done so. If you have registered and paid a deposit, May 14 is also the due date for full payments. Avoid late fees and sign up now! Payments may be made on-line using PayPal or by mail postmarked by May 14.

Beantown runs from June 26 to July 3, back at the beautiful Endicott College campus in Beverly, MA. There are multiple packages and time periods to choose from for attending. You can find all of the details and latest information on the Beantown web site:

The Yale Swing Club is bringing in Boston's The Fried Bananas this Friday, April 25th!

The dance will be held at Christ Church in New Haven, a superb venue recently played by the Solomon Douglas Swingtet!

Ryan Francois and Jenny Thomas Workshops This Weekend (Boston, MA)

There is still room in all of the workshops for leaders. Followers slots have sold out for the Saturday workshops. For more experienced dancers, there is still room in the Sunday classes including the intensive partner class. For those who would like to register, you can pay in advance by credit card using PayPal or at the door by cash or check. April Quast Presents: The Dance Experience

The Dance Experience is an exhibition of abstract paintings that explore the movement and energy of social dancing. To help the audience to better understand the paintings, you are invited to come dance. Local performance group, Crazylegs, will be performing their latest routine at the Albany Capital Swing dance on Friday, April 4th and at Vinnie's Jump & Jive in Middletown, CT on Saturday, April 5.

Mystic Blues II returns to Mystic, CT on the weekend of 16 - 18 May 2008 with two tracks of workshops, two nights of live bands followed by out of this world DJs, late nights and the usual space riff raff. This kind of weekend comes but once in a blue moon so do not miss out!

16 Hours of Workshops over two days: Shoreline Swing invites you to take workshops with national instructors as they cover beginner and intermediate/advanced blues! Learn the basics, find your hips, and start styling! For all levels of dancers! (Each track will have four classes/day)
